This is a people group that has suffered greatly by the near total upending of their way of life. Taking Steps Toward Reconciliation

Did you know that November is Native American Heritage Month? President George H. W. Bush formally approved a joint resolution designating November 1990 as a month to honor the vital history of Native Americans in the United States. Since the early 1990s, more and more Americans have embraced the month as an opportunity to reflect on the contributions of Native Americans to innovation, culture, education, politics, and the church. In an effort to seek reconciliation between people groups, Community of Hope Church in Maricopa, Arizona, celebrated Native American Heritage Month this year. Continue reading
