NACOG Camp Meeting 2015: Anticipation Mounting for 100th Year

By Charles Myricks

Camp Meeting 2015 was a fantastic time of worship, fellowship, teaching, and revival. Zion’s Hill was absolutely beautiful, and the weather was the best we have had in a very long time. The theme “Advancing the Kingdom: Together” was preached with passion and conviction.

ZionsHill_congregation_2015_FORWEBWe celebrated the near completion of Wimbish-Benn Hall and thanked God for the excellent quality of workmanship. Saints had a mind to work and give their best, which led to several record offerings, and many new monthly donors joining the Giving House. The ushers served with customary excellence. The HomeOwners Association supported the Ice Cream Social and Campground Cookout, along with the Seniors Ministry, which provided desserts.

The youth and children were very active and visible on the Hill as they served the Lord and enjoyed Camp Meeting. The NAWCG held their first meetings in Wimbish-Benn Hall, Mini-ISTI presented several classes, and the National Men’s Ministry moved into new meeting space.

Excitement is already building for our Centennial year (2016). As we look forward, we are grateful for the many advancements and improvements on the campgrounds. In particular, we rejoice that your faithful giving has joined with the faithful stewardship of our property and facilities to allow our grounds to experience growth, yet remain debt-free!

We have high expectations for the coming year, and by God’s grace and our ability to work together, we trust we will exceed them all.

The National Assocation of the Church of God will celebrate its centennial as a part of its annual Camp Meeting, August 7–14, 2016, in West Middlesex, Pennsylvania.
