Mid-America Christian University’s J.E. Massey Center for Ministry and Leadership is excited to announce the opening of enrollment for the Bethel Series with online classes starting September 16, 2014.
The series is designed for pastors and ministry staff, Sunday school teachers, Bible study leaders, Christian Counselors, and those who desire a deeper understanding of the Bible. In its 50-year history, more than 1,000,000 church members across 47 Christian denominations have participated in this life-changing course.
The Bethel Series Online seeks to equip students to comprehend the major themes that run throughout the Old and New Testaments by drawing together biblical stories and passages that otherwise may seem disjointed. The lessons empower students to understand the radical differences between Hebrew thought and Western thought that impact how one might view the Bible and its content. Biblical messages are studied in direct relationship to their historical context.
“The Bethel Series is one of the most comprehensive and fulfilling courses I have ever taken. It provides a great opportunity to see the whole of Scripture through picture, lecture and video in a way that enhances your understanding of the Bible and draws you deeper into the study of God’s word. I highly recommend it!”
